to Serve is to invest in others

To Serve is to invest in others. — and in doing so, we grow ourselves. Through service-learning trips, you don’t just complete tasks, but you build relationships, strengthen communities, and discover the interconnectedness of where you call home and the world.

By the end, our Students will understand the interconnectedness of where they call

Home and the World.

TEXAS FRONTIER PROJECT

Mission Areas

TOMA BAṜRE EDUCATION welcomes you to the Texas Frontier Project. For 14 days and 15 nights, students forge resilience and explore innovation across four (4) mission areas. This immersive, service-based trip combines tangible outcomes with field challenges and real-world volunteerism, all while immersing you in the unique spirit of the Texas frontier.

Students leave with documented service hours that meet graduation requirements and a project portfolio containing graded essays, photos, and reports, which are helpful for college essays or career exploration.

Alysa Iyana, Founder and President

“Though I was born in Germany and spent much of my early life there, I am a Texan through and through. Texas is where my roots have grown deepest. We are proud to call ourselves Texans, and prouder still to live in the most diverse state in the United States. Texas is the most ethnically and racially diverse state, with no single racial or ethnic group forming a majority.”
