PlayForward

We believe some of the strongest lessons are learned under open skies. When children step away from screens and into shared outdoor spaces, imagination expands, confidence grows, and communities reconnect.

How to Partner with PlayForward

Qualifications to be Considered for the Global Pipeline

Evidence of local support, whether through volunteer involvement, municipal partnership, land allocation, or grassroots participation, is required. PlayForward does not impose projects but supports communities that are already championing them.

1 .Community Buy-in

Access to project budgets, cost breakdowns, and funding gaps is required. Clear documentation ensures accountability to our Fellowship Program, donors, and partners.

3. Financial Transparency

The initiative must already be underway or in an advanced stage of planning with local leadership in place.

2. Live, and Active

TBE contributes as a structured partner, not as the sole funder. Projects must have diversified support or a plan to secure it.

4. Shared Contribution Model

5. Measurable Impact & Reporting

Defined deliverables, timelines, and reporting structures are required to ensure long-term integrity and measurable outcomes.

6. Verified Workmanship

Projects must engage a qualified consultant, engineer, architect, or skilled professional who can demonstrate technical competency and oversee workmanship standards. This ensures that what is built is structurally sound, safe, and sustainable beyond initial construction. BUILD contributions require documented oversight and quality assurance.

7. Long-Term Stewardship (10-Year)

Partners must commit to providing structured updates and impact reporting for at least 10 years. PlayForward is not designed for short-term visibility. We provide for enduring infrastructure. Ongoing communication ensures that what we help construct continues to serve its intended purpose for future generations.

International Framework Alignment

PlayForward is structured in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3, SDG 11, and SDG 17. By strengthening community infrastructure and encouraging active outdoor engagement, the initiative advances health equity, resilient urban development, and cross-sector collaboration.

As the 2030 benchmark approaches, we remain committed to principles that transcend global policy cycles in sustainability, accountability, and community-led design. Our work is built to endure beyond international timelines.

Local Program Liaison and Field Coordinator

“Esto no se trata solo de construir un parque… se trata de restaurar la alegría, la seguridad y la conexión en nuestra comunidad. Every shovel of soil, every smile from a child, every tree we plant together matters. I’m honored to be part of something that brings life back to where it’s needed.”

Sincerely,

Seanny Canning
